Anthology of Best Cameroon Poetry in English (2009 Edition)
CALL FOR POETRY SUBMISSIONS
Writers respond differently to out-pours of inspiration in the course of each year. Some writers even make it a duty to write a poem every week, two weeks, month or two months etc. While some of the poems are ‘weak’ even to the authors, others immediately prove to be masterpieces to whoever reads them. The former are poems to be kept in the closet and reworked over time. The later are those that should hit the stands and animate the world of creativity almost immediately.
Miraclaire Publishing is pleased to announce a Call for Poetry Submission for the First Edition of SONGS FOR TOMORROW (Anthology of Best Cameroon Poetry in English – 2009). The Mission of this Anthology is to showcase and promote the creative potentials of Cameroonians. This anthology will be published annually, within the First Quarter of each year. It will be published in A5 format, Paperback and Hardcopy, and is intended to be between 250 – 300 pages.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Send a maximum of FIVE poems.*
Poems are NOT restricted to any particular style, subject or theme
Poems should be original, and written or re-written in 2009
If poems have been previously published, the poet MUST have the copyright.
Poets should include an up to date short (3 to 5 lines) biography.
ALL submission should be via EMAIL as Ms Word ATTACHMENT (preferably 2003 version) so that the poem does not loss its structural format. However, poems without any special formatting can be sent in the body of the email.
Poets keep the copyrights of their poems
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: February 11, 2010.
You will receive a mail acknowledging receipt of your poems and we’ll keep you informed of any publication details/updates.

COPIES OF THE ANTHOLOGY WILL BE AVAILABLE NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY WITHIN TWO ONE MONTH AFTER PUBLICATION.
Miraclaire Publishing invites projects of this nature in other genres. Depending on the intension, Miraclaire Publishing can publish the project for FREE.
